The Caretakers:

THE CARETAKERS is a short documentary set at Kenya’s Ol Pejeta Conservancy—home to the last two northern white rhinos on Earth. Through the voices of rangers, caretakers, and conservation teams, the film reveals what it takes to protect wildlife on the front lines: building trust, confronting poaching, carrying the weight of loss, and holding onto hope. More than a rhino story, The Caretakers is a reminder that every species plays a role—and when one disappears, the balance of the ecosystem shifts for everything.
Care for one. Protect the whole.

Beyond Survival is a short film capturing the urgent and expansive work being done at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya. From protecting the last two northern white rhinos on Earth to supporting communities and defending biodiversity, the film highlights a living system where wildlife, people, and land are deeply interconnected.

Created for a special event at the Christopher Martin Gallery in partnership with Ol Pejeta and the launch of the Tembo Collection, this piece reflects both the fragility of what remains — and the power of those working tirelessly to protect it.

BEYOND SURVIVAL: THE WORK OF OL PEJETA

In Echoes of Africa: A Journey Beyond, Mital invites viewers into an intimate exploration of Africa’s wild spaces — from powerful encounters with elephants and lions to time spent with Najin and Fatu, the last two northern white rhinos on Earth.

This film is a personal reflection on what it means to witness, to stand in the presence of vanishing giants, and to find purpose in storytelling. Through moments in the field alongside rangers and conservationists, Mital captures not only the beauty of the land, but the deep emotional connection that forms between people and wildlife.

Echoes of Africa is a meditation on awe, responsibility, and the enduring spirit of the wild — a reminder that some places, and some lives, echo far beyond the moment.

ECHOS OF AFRICA: A JOURNEY BEYOND

Galápagos: Wildlife in Harmony is a short documentary that takes viewers on an awe-inspiring journey through the Galápagos Islands—an otherworldly archipelago of volcanic landscapes and vibrant seas—showcasing one of the most extraordinary ecosystems on Earth. Through intimate wildlife encounters and sweeping scenery, the film highlights the remarkable biodiversity that has evolved in isolation for millennia, celebrating the delicate balance that allows life to thrive both on land and beneath the surface. The documentary has been nominated for the Venice Shorts Film Festival and was a semi-finalist in both the Brooklyn International Shorts Festival and the Austin International Arts Festival. Now streaming on the WaterBear Network, a groundbreaking platform dedicated to supporting life on Earth, the film invites audiences to witness the wonders of the Galápagos and feel inspired by the power of nature in harmony.

GALÁPAGOS: WILDLIFE IN HARMONY

In this personal film, Mital Patel travels to Antarctica—drawn by a lifelong pull toward one of the most remote and powerful places on Earth. Surrounded by towering icebergs carved by time, he documents a landscape that feels both otherworldly and deeply alive, where light reveals impossible blues and silence amplifies every shift of ice and water.

More than a visual portrait, the film reflects what it feels like to stand before such magnitude—humbled, grounded, and changed. Patel’s journey is also a call to attention: these breathtaking forms are not permanent. Antarctica: Among the Ice invites viewers to experience the wonder of the polar world while underscoring the urgency to protect the fragile ecosystems and climate systems that make it possible.

ANTARCTICA: GLACIAL FLOW

Majestic Creatures is a cinematic short film that draws viewers into an intimate, slow-motion journey through the wild—revealing the power, grace, and presence of Africa’s iconic animals in striking detail. Moving beyond spectacle, the film invites a deeper connection to the lives unfolding in front of the lens, and a renewed sense of responsibility to protect the habitats that make these encounters possible.

In a world where these species face increasing pressure from habitat loss, climate shifts, and human-wildlife conflict, the film serves as both a celebration and a quiet call to action—reminding us that wonder is the first step toward stewardship, and that safeguarding Africa’s wildlife is inseparable from safeguarding the ecosystems and communities that surround them.
